Anxious

In the start of January I was feeling very anxious, it had been a few weeks since my last shoot and it was a new year. I made a few Goals, not resolutions, to have atleast 24 shoots in 2012. That would be about 2 a month. Since June I had about 19 shoots,  12 of those being with (aspiring/new/accomplished) models.  So far this month I have done 3 shoots, already ahead of the plan.

So why was I anxious? I think because the past few months have been really tough, and knowing I have shoots surrounding me, I have a place to be, a schedule to keep me sane. Having a photoshoot is like a fix, keeps me going to the next one ( as long as it's not too far!) I feel sometimes like photography for me is like an addiction, I call it my obsession. & I mean it. I love it, and I love meeting new people and creating art with them. Taking pictures of landscapes, odds & ends was fun, still is, but now I am Making pictures, creating scenes, telling a story, sealing moments up. Seriously, how awesome is that?  :)
